National Frigate of France Enters Batumi Port

The national frigate of France "Jean De Vien' has entered the Batumi port earlier this afternoon.

The ceremony was attended by Batumi mayor Robert Chkhaidze, the leadership of the coastal guard of Georgia, and representatives of the Embassy of France to Georgia. Anthems of France and Georgia were performed during the welcoming ceremony.

Besides, the attaché of the French Embassy, Vice-colonel Jan-Luk Teus and Loran Hener, captain of the frigate will meet Levan Varshalomidze, head of the Adjarian government and members of the government today.

The French frigate will leave the Batumi port on July 11. French sailors and employees of the coastal guard of Georgia will hold joint trainings on 9 and 11 July.
