The deputy of the head of the administration of the President of Georgia, the advisor of the President in economical issues Giorgi Abashishvili met the permanent representative of the International Monetary Fund in Georgia Azim Sadikov, reports GHN.
One of the main themes of the conversation was analyses of economic processes in Georgia, the special attention was paid to the fluctuations of Lari exchange rate.
The sides discussed in details factors that make influence on the exchange rate. Also they talked about possible development of events and underlined importance of coordinated work between National Bank and the government.
On the meeting they also talked about the potential rate of economic growth and importance of those economic reforms that will help economic growth and stability of Lari exchange rate in the country.
