Elene Khoshtaria, member of the UNM believes that the government has no real plans to make necessary steps for peaceful elections.

"The main challenge for the peaceful elections, namely actions of the government is that fights against the free media. The government incites a violence, and clear example of this aggression was a Kortskheli incident. The government not only did not investigate the happening but tried to explain this incident as a proper one. At the same time we are witnesses of a very unpleasant fact, a person involved in the Kortskhe incident is appointed as a chief of the elections headquarters. This fact indicates, the government has no real plans for conducting peaceful elections, " - Elene Khoshtaria tells.
