Minorities to be employed at public services of local self governance

Tengiz Shergelashvili, Deputy Regional Development and Infrastructure Minister participated in a presentation event: "Self governance school for Kvemo Kartli students". The NGO "Green Caucasus" organized the event. The above mentioned project was held in support of the ethnic minorities to help them in inclusiveness process into the local self governance and for the employment strategy. 60 students expressed its willingness to be employed in a public service, 50 out of them were representatives of ethnic minorities.

The project stipulated as well a training course for the self governing officials for education in obligatory norms of law. The events were organized by the NGO Green Caucasus in partnership with the International Center of Civic Culture (ICCC).
