Probation Minister talked about Justice reforms with Armenian Justice Minister

Kakha Kakhniashvili, Probation Minister in the frames of his official visit to Armenia, talked about the Justice reforms conducted in Georgia with Arpine Ivanisian, Armenian Justice Minister.

The parties talked about the deepening of cooperation between Georgia and Armenia. The reforms in Georgian Penitential system were discussed alongside with other questions. The classification of imprisoned persons by a risk factors, modern methods of penitential system management, and justice for underage, youth crime was on agenda. The high importance of the resocialization-rehabilitation programs for the prisoners and alternate methods of imprisonment were discussed. Parties agreed on the future cooperation and joint educational programs for exchanging of experience and deepening of cooperation.

Georgian Probation Minister in the frames of this visit also met with Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrakhamianz.
