Federica Mogherini High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, at her visit in Washington once more declared that the reintroduction of a death penalty by Turkey makes impossible this country's membership to E.U. Earlier on Monday she declared: "No country can become a member of the European Union if it has the death penalty."

She underlined Turkey is not to use the democratic institutions for restriction of fundamental Human Rights.
At the same time, John Kerry, US State Secretary tells, despite the coup attempt Turkey continues its contribution to the anti terrorist coalition.
