Possibly government to try strengthening control over non dominant religions

The civil movement ‘No to phobias' disseminates the information over attempt of the governmental organizations to collect the personal information about clergies of different confessions in Georgia. The movement claims that such actions of the government violates the law on Personal Information.

Moreover, members of civil movement are declaring in a special statement that instead of facilitating conditions for minority religions organizations, the governmental bodies are about to establish new control mechanisms to limit activity of non-dominant religious organizations. This against the principles of secularism and freedom of religion is, - the statement reads.
