Liberty Institute NGO accuses the Minister of Education and Science, Dimitri Shashkini of exceeding his authority. Tea Tutberidze spoke about specific examples of `minister`s wrongdoings` at the briefing today. She said the minister dismissed the director and the board of trustees of #14 public school in Tbilisi. Tutberidze said she would file a lawsuit against the minister at the prosecutor`s office.

The Minister has already responded to the allegations of the NGO member. Dimitri Shashkini confirmed the fact of dismissal but explained the grounds. The Minister said the director and the board of trustees were dismissed due to the misappropriation of school funds.
