Vice president of occupant regime survived in armed assault

The vice president of the Abkhazian occupant regime, Aleksandr Ankvab has survived in an armed assault late last night. The incident occurred in Gudauta on September 22.

Russian media reports that somebody fired on his house, supposedly from a grenade launcher. Ankvab was sleeping during the attack and he was injured in his hand and leg, however, he refused to go to the hospital.

The so-called interior ministry of the occupant regime is investigating the assassination attempt, which is third in the life of the separatist politician.

Occupant leader, Sergey Baghapsh commented on the incident. He said the attack aimed at causing instability in Abkhazia.
