Tomorrow on February 8, Spanish businessmen delegation will arrive to Georgia. The visit will last till February 11. In the frames of the visit businessmen will meet with representatives of economic and financial sector. They will observe an investment area on site. According to the preliminary information Spanish businessmen are interested in implementation of projects in area of energy, infrastructure, environment, transport. The Georgian side considers this visit as a very important one for the additional investments inflow in the country. Here will be presented a wide spectrum of Spanish businessmen.
We remind you that on January 11 Zurab Pololikashvili, Economic Development Minister hosted a delegation of members of Spanish Congress - Huan Moskoso, Alex Saesi and Spanish businessman Karlos Kaba. During the meeting the questions of trade regimes easing, free trade agreements and the acceptance of Georgia in the EU as an associate member were discussed.
Minister declared before the meeting that Spain is a chairman country of EU presently, and therefore it is very important for Georgia to use this period of time actively.
"A disposition of Spanish politicians is very positive. These are the people who will decide the future development of our country and the relations of Georgia and EU in the future, " - Pololikashvili said.
Huan Moskoso noted that Spain has good relations with Georgia and for the future as well it has big plans.
"This will touch the trade-commercial relations improvement and as well deepening of the tourism and culture area. On today's meeting we will review the questions in the frames of the "Eastern Partnership" as well. Georgia has a very important role in area of EU future development in view of democracy and as well in the trade area, "- Huan Moskoso said.
