The most innovative project of the year - Electronic ID card. The name of the 100, 000th holder of the ID card is already known.

Georgian Ministry of Justice awarded the 100, 000th holder of the ID card - Tamar Sokhadze, 20-year-old student, with the prize.

Georgian citizens are using electronic ID cards from July, 2011. The new cards are multifunctional. Holders can use various services without living their homes and are able to cross the Georgian-Turkish state border without passports.

Giorgi Vashadze, Deputy Justice Minister talked about future plans today.
