Somebody tried to dig out the grave of a late politician Jaba Ioseliani in the Didube Panteon of Georgian Writers and Public Workers. Director of the pantheon, Badri Kutateladze informed the police that the grave was damaged.

Kutateladze says the villains had arguably crept on the gates of the pantheon and did not break the gates as it was closed this morning. The incident occurred around 2 a.m.

The pantheon staff found a small, probably a military oar and the photographs took in 1991-1992 years during the civil war in Tbilisi left on the grave of Ioseliani. The pictures of the abused grave were released on internet last night.

Pantheon administration called for the police, who are still working to trace the suspects.
