Moscow is ready to restore diplomatic relations with Tbilisi except for one person - President Saakashvili, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said at the meeting with journalism students from Moscow State University on Wednesday.

"We are absolutely ready to restore the diplomatic ties, it was not us who broke them off. There is just one person with whom I would not like to deal - you understand who I am talking about, I am not going to either meet him or extend my hand to him," Medvedev said.

President Medvedev also said he hopes that the new American Ambassador Michael McFaul will work in Russia taking the country`s specific features into account and within the framework of his mandate.

When talking about possible revolt in the country, he said Russia has exhausted its limit of revolutions as early as the 20th century.

"I have the experience of observing elections since 1991. However critical one may be about the parliamentary elections, where violations were present, some of them flagrant perhaps, those were the cleanest elections ever in our history", he said.

"Another demagogic statement made by the Russian authorities", - this is how the spokesperson of the Georgian president and lawmakers have commented on Medvedev`s recent statement regarding possible restoration of Russia-Georgia relations. They said Georgia will never have government, Russia is going to like and with these statements Moscow is trying to interfere with Georgia`s internal processes.
