`The Kremlin is trying to make an illusion of democracy in breakaway South Ossetia` - this is how Georgian politicians have assessed the upcoming `election of president` in the occupied Tskhinvali Region of Georgia scheduled for March 25th. Politicians say the Moscow cannot legitimate any election in the breakaway region.

Four candidates are running in the so-called election of the president in Tskhinvali - Dmitri Medoev, Leonid Tibilov, Stanislav Kochiyev and David Sanakoyev. Experts say two candidates have greatest chances of all four - they are so-called ambassador of the puppet regime to Russia Dmitri Medoyev and so-called head of the security committee of the puppet government, Leonid Tibilov.

As for Ala Jioeva, who won the previous elections in Tskhinvali, the results of which were afterwards annulled by the `supreme court`, she does not participate in these elections as she is still at the hospital after armed assault on her on February 9th.
