The second round of the so called presidential elections was held in Georgia's one of two invaded regions of South Ossetia yesterday.

Leonid Tibilov, former chair of the State Security Committee won the elections he received the 54 % of votes.

The 2 candidates were running in the presidential race: David Sanakoyev, the human rights defender and Leonid Tibilov.

Georgian side objects to the illegal elections held in the breakaway region and do not recognize legitimacy of South Ossetian Elections.
