Georgian poetry translation workshops closing ceremony and public reading

On September 14, at 16:00 in Writer's House (Machabeli St #13) there will be held public reading of translations of 6 Georgian poets - Irakli Charkviani, Lela Samniashvilli, Shota Iatashvili, Maia Sarishvili, Gaga Nakhtsrishvili and Rati Amaglobeli concerning to end of translation workshop organized by the National Center of Georgian Book, reports GHN.
The moderator of the event will be Georgian editor of project Gaga Lomidze.
The supporters of the project are: the Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection, British Council and Writers House of Georgia.
The translations were made by British poets who will also participate in the event.
Translations made in the frame of the workshops will be published by "Arc Publication" in 2015.
