Tomorrow September 25 at 19:00 in café "Sanapiro" on Tortoise Lake the representation of European Union in Georgia and embassy of Kingdom of Sweden will open Week of European Culture. The event will be opened officially by the ambassador of Kingdom of Sweden Martina Kuick. After the opening ceremony there will take place the concert of Swedish electronic pop-art group Tikkle Me. The "Week of Culture of European Union- 2014" will be held in three cities of Georgia Tbilisi, Kutaisi and Poti with the aim to represent European culture, reports GHN.
The "Week of Culture of European Union" is the festival that aims to represent European values with the way of sharing experience in art in different spheres and with the way or organizing cultural events.
In the frame of the festival there will be held: discussions with Georgian writers, concerts, screenings, theatrical performances, exhibitions, street art performances and etc.
The "Week of Culture of Europe - 2014" is held with the financing of European Union in the frame of the project "Let's Meet Europe Together- 3."
The project is implemented by the company "Action Global Communications."
The supporters of the "Week of Culture of Europe- 2104" are the Ministry of Sports and Youth of Georgia, City Halls of Tbilisi, Kutaisi and Poti, "British Council in Georgia," embassy of Sweden in Georgia, "Goethe Institute," French Institute of Georgia" and hotel "Ambassador."
