In the state should be equally protected right of every religious community and maximally considered interests of every of them,- responded the State Agency of Issues of Religion to the events that developed in the village Mokhe of Adigeni region, reports GHN.
With the statement of the agency Muslim community of Mokhe has not applied to the state agency regarding the problem.
"The agency received only the letter of the assembly of Adigeni municipality for proper recommendation. According to the importance of the issue the agency considered to learn subject in details that's why the agency demanded from local municipality additional information. The position of the State Agency of Issues of Religion is in the state should be equally protected right of every religious community and considered interests of every one of them. Because of the fact that belonging of the monument became subject of controversy between Christian and Muslim population, the subject needs to be deeply learned and accordingly needs to make optimal decision. The State Agency of Issues of Religion considers that the problem should be solved on the basis of consensus to involve all interested sides and calls on them to keep calm and reasonableness escalation of processes not to harm state interests," there is said in the statement of State Agency of Issues of Religion.
