Keti Bekauri, defense lawyer demands the physical examination to be carried out for Tsotne Gamsakhurdia her defendant. This was demanded by her at the very next day of his detention. She said that, formally the investigation satisfied the demand 10 days ago but until now the examination was not carried out.
"Gamsakhurdia was delivered to the prison with a concussion of the brain and severe craniocerebral injury. He had put it 5 stitches. We demanded for this to hold an forensic medical examination. Now his condition is more severe. Additionally he is on a hunger strike. It is the 14-th day of the strike - Bekauri said to GHN.
We remind you that Tsotne Gamsakhurdia went on hunger strike from the very day of his arrest. He was arrested on October 27 with accusation in assault upon his negbour Davit Bajelidze. Gamsakhurdia detained with allegiation of illegal caying of gun. He is imprisoned now for two month preliminary investigation. He is jailed in Gladani region No 8 prison.
