On Monday evening the dead fish floated to the surface. Tests were taken and part of the dead fish was taken to laboratory for examination.
Experts are working to ascertain the causes of the death of large amount of fish found in Mtkvari River in Tbilisi on Monday.
The dead fish has been floating on the surface of Mtkvari River since yesterday. Some anglers fishing at the river said the incident was caused by the water intoxication. Others said the fish was killed by lack of oxygen in the water.
They also said they have never seen similar incident before
