Mamuka Areshidze, expert in Caucasian questions, said in case of possible USA attack on Iran it need not to use Georgian and Azerbaijani territory. Expert said that USA has for this proposes better places in Iraq, Afghanistan and in Arabic states in Persia. Consequently in case of possible war with Iran, political scientist excluded the possibility of using a Georgian territory; Areshidze said this in his interview with GHN. Moreover the only resource which can be exploited by USA is a Marneuli airdrome, but it will be surely useless, after having so powerful means, Areshidze said.
Expert believes that at this stage there does not exist any slightest indication for danger of conflict between two countries, because USA is busy with other military operations.
"I cannot foresee any signs for such step of USA present administration, when it is busy with quite another large scale military conflict with Afghanistan and Iraq. The foreign policy of the today's USA administration makes me to believe that they have no intention for military actions nowadays, "- Areshidze said.
We remind you that famous Azerbaijani political scientist Zardusht Alizade in his interview with Vesti.ru expressed a view point about possible military operations of USA against Iran and in turn about possible dangers for response of Iran by attacking Tbilisi and Baku. He said that preparation of USA and Israel for military attack upon Iraq is a story of 10 and more years, and Georgia and Azerbaijan may suffer from this conflict if they will provide bases for USA and Israel.
