Roland Akhalaia found guilty by the Supreme Court

The Supreme Court delivered a verdict - Roland Akhalaia, former MP is guilty under the Article 333 of GCC (in abuse of power). He is fined for GEL 30 000, and for 2 years and three month deprivation of the post.

The Court found that Roland Akhalaia, being back then the regional prosecutor exceeded a power and in breach of the law extorted big amount of money (USD 60 000) in turn for settlement agreement from imprisoned people.
