President pardoned 226 prisoners

Giorgi Margvelashvili, Georgian President pardoned today 226 prisoners. The Act of Pardoning was signed today, Zviad Koridze, Chair of the Pardoning Commission tells that among pardoned prisoners 11 women and 3 minors are.

He also noted that out of 226 prisoners 154 leave its cells today and other 72 will be shortened a term of imprisonment. At this stage the Pardoning Commission reviewed 1565 cases.
