Military trainings to be held in Abkhazia on May 27-28

Military trainings will be conducted in Georgia's one of two separatist republics of Abkhazia on May 27-28.

Sub-divisions and an infantry battalion stationed in Bichvinta resort of the breakaway region will participate in the training.

Russian news agencies reported the information based on a statement of Aslan Ankvab, representative of the de facto Abkhazian General Headquarters.

Similar military training was conducted in the separatist republic on May 18-20. The Georgian side assesses the separatists' training as yet another provocation.
