The EU plans to push up to January 23 a meeting by its foreign ministers to discuss a proposed ban on the import of Iranian oil, which was originally slated for the 30th of this month, Reuters reports, citing diplomatic sources in Brussels.
The final decision is expected to come when EU permanent representatives meet in Brussels later today. The EU threatens Iran with new sanctions for Tehran's refusal to come clean on the nature of its nuclear program.
