Mikheil Saakashvili called the Ajara population to vote for him. He declared this in Batumi at the gathering of UNM for presentation of majoritarian candidates. He tells that Levan Varshalomidze is a person who is very reliable in Ajara region.
Saakashvili recalled events happening in May of 2004 in Ajara and thanked the population for backing him in stepping down and expelling of Alsan Abashidze, being back then Chair of Ajara government. Former President Also criticized Bidzina Ivanishvili. He tells that Ivanishvili did everything exactly upside down in Ajara, unlike him. Because Saakashvili tells, he was envious of UNM's achievements in this region.
"I had had very good relations with Ajara population," - Saakashvili tells in his video footage. He presented three majoritarian candidates Mirdat Kamadadze, Giorgi Kirtadze and Temur Dumbadze for Batumi. And for the Ajara High Council are presented Elguja Bagrationi, Nino Jincharadze and Gia Abuladze.
