The expert in international questions Kakha Gogolashvili said NATO successfully accomplished the mission in connection with the Libyan riot. The process was prolonged, but this is not NATO's fault.
"The aims which NATO has envisaged are all fulfilled. Simply the public expected this mission will be accomplished speedily. Nevertheless under the NATO mandate they were put in strict obligations. The organization has no right to perform in Libya a full scale military operation and was not tasked for the overthrowing of the Gaddafi's regime. NATO prevented the Gaddafi's regime killing of own citizens. NATO destroyed the strategic military infrastructure for this purpose, "- Kakha Gogolashvili said to GHN.
In this context, expert said that in Libya the civil war prolongation is not a weakness of NATO.
