Russian Federation intends make reforms in collective security. The main priority will be given to the NATO partnership relations. The organization witch consists of Russia, Belarus, Kirgizia, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Armenia as well intends to establish peacekeepers for operation on the post soviet area. The Russian "Commersant" informs that the Organization of Collective Security will discuss the reforms on the political forum, which will be held in Yaroslavl tomorrow on September 7.
Probably reforms will touch the decision taking system, from the consensus to the majority of the votes. In such case this will give the possibility to ignore the Uzbekistan position which hinders to the development of the organization.
One of the main important question is the cooperation of this organization with NATO. The initiators of this reform believe that the Collective Security Organization should became a main peacekeeping force in the post soviet area.
