Eka Beselia on her return from Paris talked about plans of the "Movement for United Georgia". The press conference in the party's office was dedicated to this theme.
Beselia said that she hold a meetings in Paris with the different EU organizations and politicians. She talked as well in Paris with Irakli Okruashvili, (there as a political refugee). They discussed the future plans of the political movement, founder of which is Irakli Okruashvili.
"In the Foreign Ministry of France we had meetings with the representatives of European countries Department and with the local politicians. Mainly the talks touched the illegitimate and anti democratic steps of our government. We discussed the action plan for our political party with Irakli Okruashvili. The "Movement for United Georgia" is not going to take part in the local elections. Accordingly we will not present as well our candidate for the elections. This decision is derived from the main demand of our party - the resignation of the President and the early elections. We will act in the legal frames to achieve this aim." - Beselia said.
Despite of this the political party will be actively involved in the coordination of voters lists. The consultations with other opposition parties are planned as well.
We note that Eka Beselia asked France for the political asylum for her son and brother.
