USA's attempt to temper Russia's anger concerning USA's antimissile system in Europe, caused disagreement among USA congressmen. Republican congressmen said USA intends to pass to Russian Federation sensitive information concerning the SM-3 (Standard Missile-3, ship-based missile system used by USA navy to intercept short-to intermediate-range ballistic missiles).
According to the disseminated information being with visit in Moscow Ellen Tosher, deputy State Secretary said USA can pass to Russian Federation the technical documentation concerning marine-based SM-3.
Washington hopes, they can assure Kremlin that above mentioned rockets cannot intercept Russian ballistic weapon. USA invited experts for the spring of 2012 to take part in SM-3 operation testing.
Nevertheless, the Russian Federation doubts about this invitation, as they believe that Washington will not open full information. In turn USA deputy State Secretary said Russian representatives will be able to use any measure devises at this testing.
At this background influential Republican congressmen are accusing White House in conspirator negotiations with Moscow that can cause a threat to USA security. They will try to prevent such disclosure of information.
