The Russian Federation is concerned over the situation in South Ossetia. The quarrel between representatives of different clans is not favorable for the interests of a region. Nevertheless, the local population has to determine own position in this situation independently and not to point a finger to Moscow, Medvediev said, GHN reports.
"The situation in South Ossetia is developing according to the internal rules, and I am very upset that they have disagreements with each other. Notwithstanding this is natural especially in small territories, "- Russian President said at his meeting with the members of the Public Committee, RIA Novosti informs.
"Usually several representatives of different clans are constantly arguing between each-other. This is very sad that such situation can badly affect to the interests of the Republic, which we are supporting and will support in the future, "- Medvediev said.
He believes that people should take independent decision in such case. Nevertheless, Moscow, who recognized them as an independent state, will support them with its presence and advice as usual. But they have to take decisions and responsibility for such decisions from both sides, ‘otherwise they will face problems'.
"They should negotiate," - Medvediev said.
