Alexander Lukashenko, President of Belarus said that the death penalty will be abolished in Belarus after the USA will make the same step.
Belarusian President considers this legislative rule still is necessary in the country. The demand of EU countries in respect of the death penalty contains double standards.
"Let's look slightly at different side - over the Atlantic you have a very big friend, as soon they will abolish this penalty, we will do the same, "- Lukashenko said.
