A new hospital was opened today in Mtskheta, Georgia's ancient capital as part of hospital development sector.
The clinic corresponding to European standards is provided with up-to-date medical equipment. There are different departments functioning in the hospital including surgery, pediatric, gynecology and reanimation.
More than 100 doctors have been employed at the hospital. GPI Insurance Company invested 4 million in construction.
Georgia's President Mikheil Sakashvili arrived in Mtskheta on the occasion of clinic's opening. He toured about the new hospital and talked to doctors. He also met with locals who gathered to welcome the president.
