Today, State Minister of Georgia on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration David Bakradze addressed the participants of the 6th meeting of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum (EaP CSF) at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Batumi. Representatives of non-governmental organisations from the Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries - Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine and the EU participated in the work of the Forum and discussed the issues related to the European integration and security in the Eastern Neighbourhood, reports GHN based on the Ministry of European and Euro Atlantic Integration.
Georgia is hosting the Forum for the first time. This year's Forum provides a good opportunity for participants to assess the situation in the region and develop priorities in order to promote common agenda of the democratic, economic and social reforms in the EaP countries.
The thematic sessions are the following: 1. Human Rights in the Eastern Partnership: Reestablishing EU Focus amid Deterioration; 2. Eastern Partnership in a New Security Environment: The Russia Factor; 3. Propaganda and Information Warfare in Times of Conflict: How to Navigate? 4. Future of the Eastern Partnership: Bridging the Divide and Addressing Obstacles to Reform.
