Two civilians have been killed and eight more have been wounded over the past 24 hours as a result of terrorist shelling in Donbas, the press center for the anti-terrorist operation has reported.
"Over the past 24 hours the anti-terrorist operation headquarters has received reports of two deceased and eight wounded civilians. Bandits fired artillery shells from the direction of the town of Pervomaisk (controlled by the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic) in the direction of the town of Popasna. The shells damaged a dormitory and 15 houses. Two people were injured. The victims were given medical care. One more person was wounded in the village of Opytne as a result of shelling from the side of the territory controlled by militants," the report says.
The press center also added that the fire that broke out as a result of militant shelling of a thermal power plant in Shchastia had been extinguished through the actions of Aidar battalion soldiers.
