Today, State Minister of Georgia on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration David Bakradze conducted meetings with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Italy, H.E. Federica Favi and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia, H.E. Mr. Priit Turk, reports GHN based on the Ministry of European and Euro Atlantic Integration.
During the meetings, David Bakradze deliberated upon Georgia's progress in the process of its European and Euro-Atlantic integration; highlighted the priorities of the Association Agreement agenda and the commitments of the government as well as the importance of the assistance from the EU and Member States. The Ambassadors expressed their will to assist Georgia through sharing experience.
The sides discussed the upcoming Eastern Partnership summit to be conducted in Riga, Latvia and underscored respective expectations.
During the meetings, the sides talked over the process of Georgia's Euro-Atlantic integration and the security challenges in the region. The Ambassadors reiterated their support to Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity as well as its European and Euro-Atlantic Aspiration.
