With the data of December 1, 2014 in the Infectious Diseases, AIDS and Clinical Immunology Research Center is registered 4646 cases of AIDS, 3413 are men, 1233 women, reports GHN.
It must be said that the age of most of patients vary from 29 till 40 years old. With the information of Infectious Diseases Center 2814 patients have developed AIDS, 966 died.
In 2014 there were unveiled 151 new cases. 2426 patients are on drug treatment (among them in Abkhazia 304).
