The Georgian basketball team won over Belarus in the first playoff match, and secured the ticket for A Division. The match ended with the score 89:75.
Zaza Pachulia and Victor Sanikidze brought the most scores -- 19 points each -- for the Georgian team. Vladimer Boisa also contributed a lot to the sucess.
The match was held in Belarus. The Georgian basketball players returned to Tbilisi earlier this afternoon.
The second playoff match with Belarus will take place on September 9 at the Tbilisi Sports Palace. The First Channel of the Georgian Public Broadcasting will air the sports event live.
