All EU countries may complete the ratification of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU by the end of next year, which would mean the entry into force of the document in full, reports GHN based on Ukrinform.
Deputy Head of Ukraine's Presidential Administration Valeriy Chaly said this at a briefing in Kyiv on Friday.
"Those numbers that we talked about before - several years - now could be realistic in the short term, given such active cooperation with European partners and work. I think that by the end of next year it's absolutely realistic to enact the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU in its entirety, that is get ratification in all countries of the European Union," Chaly said.
He said that the Ukrainian government had set such a "quite realistic" task.
He also added that an inaugural meeting of the EU-Ukraine Association Council was scheduled for December 15 and that today "very intensive steps on the implementation of the association are expected" from the Ukrainian government.
