The monitoring bodies are visiting regularly to the Russian Federation, making reports on and as you may know, many of the cases and applications that come in accord with human rights are coming from the Russian Federation, which proves that the Council of Europe is working very affectively also with the Russian Federation. Protection of human rights is very important especially ion the conflict region. We should take care of this and draw up concrete mechanisms. To avoid black holes, we should work with the sides involved and try to enter the occupied territories and protect citizens`, Thorbjørn Jagland said.
