A ceasefire regime has been introduced at all positions of the Ukrainian anti-terrorist operation (ATO) forces in eastern Ukraine, according to the Facebook page of the ATO press center.
"At the initiative of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko a ceasefire regime has been introduced at all positions of the anti-terrorist operation forces," reads the report.
The new agreement to cease fire in Donbas as part of the implementation of the Minsk agreements of September 5 came into force at 09.00 on December 9. This agreement was earlier reported by representatives of the joint Ukrainian-Russian center for controlling and coordinating issues of the ceasefire and stabilizing the contact line of the parties, Lieutenant General Volodymyr Askarov (Ukraine) and Alexander Lentsov (Russia).
