A woman, 60, died in the car incident in Tbilisi on Friday. The car moved off the road and fell into Mtkvari River from Galaktioni Bridge. Two people were in the car during the incident. The driver was able to get out of the car, but his wife fell into the water.
As the head of the city office for emergency situations said, rescuers were able to save the driver, and the 60-year-old woman was killed in the river.
Rescuer brigades and machinery are mobilised at the scene. They are trying to pull the car out of the river.
