Consortium which will construct Anaklia deep-water port will be announced in summer, 2015. The Government commission expressing interest on Anaklia deep-water port construction and operation, led by Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, out of 12 large consortiums moved 7 to the second stage, reports GHN based on press service of the Prime Minister.
The companies that were moved to the second stage shall submit port development concept and funding proposals for which they will be given the term of 4 months; and technical and financial side will be assessed by German company hired by the Georgian Government.
Proposals submitted by 12 consortiums at the stage of interest expression on Anaklia deep-water port construction and operation were discussed by the Government commission of interest expression at today's meeting which was held in the Government administration.
