Military servicemen of the 51st Battalion of V Infantry Brigade are undergoing eh scheduled trainings on Bagram Air base in Afghanistan. Georgian military trained in marksmanship on the fire range of the base on the first stage of the exercise. They shot from pistols and fire arms in different directions. Following each exercise fire readiness level of the soldiers was examined, reports GHN based on the Ministry of Defense.
Within the international mission similar trainings are frequently held in order to maintain combat readiness of the military. Georgian soldiers will undergo tactical trainings on the next stage.
The 51st Battalion has been contributing in ISAF mission since November. The main task of the battalion is to provide security inside and out of the Bagram Air Base.
