Letter to Patriarch - the presentation of the book dedicated to His Holiness was held at the residence of Georgian Catholicos Patriarch today. Another book about the history of Saint Trinity Cathedral in Tbilisi, This is How Trinity Cathedral Was Constructed was also presented at the event.
Letter to Patriarch is a manuscript of 368 pages and it has 110 authors, 35 of them are bichovs, 5-priests and 2 - nuns. Others are prominent public figures, including former rector of the Tbilisi State University, Roin Metreveli, current rector - Gia Khubua, poet Jansugh Charkviani, writer Guram Dochanashvili, historian Marika Lortkipanidze, MP Rusudan Kervalishvili and others. The authors of the book were present at the event today.
The editor of the book Darejan Kvaratskhelia said the idea to write a collection of letters to His Holiness was first voiced in 2007.
