On December 11, 2014 at NATO HQ the NATO-Georgia Commission (NGC) meeting was held at the level of the Partnerships and Cooperative Security Committee, discussing Public Diplomacy related issues. The members of the Committee were informed about the existing situation, challenges and the future activities by the Georgian side aiming at raising public awareness on Georgia's NATO integration processes, reports GHN based on the Ministry of European and Euro Atlantic Integration.
The aforementioned issues were discussed by the Head of the Euro-Atlantic Integration Coordination Department, Nata Koridze and by the Head of the Information Centre on NATO and EU, Elene Gotsadze.
The Allies positively assessed Georgia's efforts to raise public awareness on NATO-related issues and welcomed the planned activities in this regard.
The representatives of NATO member states once again reiterated their support toward Georgia's NATO integration path, the implementation of the NATO-Georgia Substantial Package as well as reaffirmed their support to Georgia's ongoing reforms.
