The President of Euro Parliament Martin Schultz assesses the ratification of the Association Agreement between Georgia and European Union as important event.
"It is very important Georgia to fully perform this agreement and to show loyalty to the principles and values of the European Union," reads the statement of Martin Schultz reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In the statement is also marked that the agreement is prerequisite of those reforms that will lead to the pluralist, tolerant and democratic society - the society that will be based on the principle of fairness, equality and human rights.
The ratification of the agreement between Georgia and European Union was supported by the majority of the European Union and as the President of European Union states is the result of the effort of the government of Georgia.
