The state program "Produce in Georgia" is named as honorary laureate of "Golden Parchment" of 2014. On the annual award ceremony organized by News Agency GHN "Golden Parchment" that was hosted by Casino "Shangri La" the state program "Produce in Georgia" is named as honorary laureate of "Golden Parchment" of 2014.
The state program "Produce in Georgia" is working from June 1 and during this period financed many businesses. For the year of 2014 the budget of the program was determined by 46 million GEL, from this 30 million GEL on agriculture, 16 million GEL on industrial production. The aim of the program is to develop entrepreneurship in Georgia, to support entrepreneurs, support of creation of new enterprises.
The program unites three components: availability of finances; availability of infrastructure (real estate); consultation service.
In the frame of the program there takes place support of industries oriented of production, that is chosen due to following criteria: import volume and local potential of production.
The program is implemented by the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia and Ministry of Agriculture.
