"Public Initiative" coalition disseminated statement through media sources according to which employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were deprived of medical insurance, reports GHN based on the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Ministry of Internal Affairs would like to respond to the allegations and states that such statements are aimed at misleading the society. All employees of the Ministry will preserve medical insurance with same conditions in the upcoming year. Family members of MIA employees will also be able to benefit from flexible and reliable insurance packages.
Ministry of Internal Affairs has complied with all requirements of legislation in order to provide employees with health insurance. In particular Ministry conducted market research, announced two tenders and selected insurer companies in competitive conditions. From 2015, procurements will be made according to the most optimal insurance packages in low prices
Ministry of Internal Affairs would like to call on "Public Initiative" coalition to refrain from making statements on issues in which they are no experience and did not even verify accuracy of their report. Ministry of Internal Affairs would also like to propose to the "Public Initiative" to conduct market research on insurance prices and provide us with information in case if cheaper service can be provided in other case Ministry of Internal Affairs demands public apologies from the organization.
