Georgian government gives a chance to the residents of the occupied Abkhazia and Tskhinvali Region to take Neutral Status ID cards, which will assist them to travel abroad and gain foreign visas as the citizens of Georgia.
Lawmakers define that this legal proposal will allow Abkhaz and Ossetian residents of Georgia to travel abroad without obstructions.
`We are going to legalize interim ID documents, which will allow our compatriots residing in Abkhazia and Tskhinvali Region to have the ID document along with Russian and Abkhazian passports, which will allow them to get visas and travel abroad without problems,` Vice Speaker Mikheil Machavariani has said and added that the legal proposal would be submitted to parliament for discussion in September.
